Refund Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026. Any change is posted on this page.
100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is my priority. For my design and development work I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy, so you have complete peace of mind. Domains, hosting and business email follow separate rules because those costs are paid to third-party providers.
My Refund Guarantee
I am committed to delivering exceptional work that meets your expectations. For project work, if for any reason you are not satisfied with the final deliverable, I offer a full refund, minus payment processing fees.
How It Works
Unlimited Revisions
I will continue refining the work until you are 100% satisfied with the result.
Full Refund Option
If I cannot meet your requirements, you receive a full refund minus processing fees.
Timely Processing
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval.
No Questions Asked
Simple, straightforward process without lengthy explanations required.
Conditions for Refund
- The refund request must be made within a reasonable timeframe after project delivery
- Clear communication about issues or dissatisfaction must be provided
- Opportunity for revisions must have been given before requesting a refund
- Payment processing fees (typically 2-3%) are non-refundable
Partial Refunds
If a project is cancelled midway, a partial refund may be issued based on the work already completed. The refund amount will be calculated proportionally to the remaining work.
Domains & Hosting
Domains, hosting and business email are bought from third-party providers on your behalf, and I pay those providers in advance. They follow different rules from project work:
- Domain registration: Non-refundable once registered. As a courtesy, if you report a mistake (such as a typo in the name) within 5 days of the first registration and the domain has not been used, I will refund it minus payment processing fees.
- Domain renewals: Never refundable.
- Hosting and business email, first purchase: Full refund if requested within 30 days of the first purchase, minus payment processing fees and the cost of any domain bundled with it.
- Hosting and business email renewals: Not refundable from the second billing period onward. As a courtesy, if you contact me within 48 hours of a renewal charge and the account or mailboxes were not used in that period, I will refund it.
- SSL certificates, licences, plugins and add-ons: Non-refundable once purchased.
Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Domains, hosting and business email renew every year. Renewal prices are shown separately from first-year prices on every quote and invoice.
- Reminders: I email you about 30 days and again 7 days before each renewal, stating the amount and the date.
- Invoice first: Renewals are invoiced. If an invoice is not paid by its due date, the service lapses and is not renewed.
- Automatic charging: Only if you have authorised it in writing (for example at checkout or on an invoice), the payment method on file is charged on the renewal date.
- Cancel any time: Email me before the renewal date and the service will not renew, with no penalty.
- After a renewal is charged: The provider has already been paid and I cannot recover it, so the renewal rules above apply.
Domain Ownership & Transfers
Your domain is registered in your name. I only hold management access, and I will transfer it to you on request once any balance is paid. A 60-day transfer lock may apply after a new registration or a change of registrant details.
Plugins, Themes & Add-ons
Software products I sell, such as plugins, themes and add-ons, are refundable on these terms:
- One-time and lifetime deals: Full refund if requested within 30 days of purchase, minus payment processing fees.
- Subscriptions: Full refund if requested within 30 days of your first payment only. Renewal payments are not refundable, and you can cancel any time before the next renewal date.
- Built specifically for you: Custom plugins, themes and add-ons made to your specification are non-refundable. The only exception is if I do not deliver what we agreed, in which case the refund is based on what was not delivered.
- Agreed terms come first: If we have agreed a different deal or contract, the terms in that agreement apply instead of this page.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Third-party purchases made on your behalf, other than as set out under Domains & Hosting above (plugins, licences, SSL certificates, add-ons)
- Plugins, themes and add-ons built specifically for you, unless I fail to deliver what we agreed
- Projects completed and approved by you
- Changes requested that are outside the original project scope
- Delays caused by late client feedback or missing materials
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact me at [email protected] with your project details and the reason for your request. I will review your case and respond within 24-48 hours.
Commitment to Quality
My goal is to ensure every client is completely satisfied with my work. I prefer to resolve issues through revisions and open communication. The refund policy exists as a safety net, but I strive to never have to use it by delivering exceptional results every time.
